As part of the development of new high-end services, Charles de Gaulle Airport is building a new boarding lounge, an ode to French-style hospitality, in Terminal 1.

We designed the space in reference to Ernest Hemingway’s collection of short stories, Paris is a party, with nods to the Roaring Twenties and iconic elements of Parisian life, such as the historical poles, the lights reminiscent of fireworks, and the use of brass in reference to the legs of the counters and tables of Parisian bars.

All of this will provide greater comfort for passengers, who will be able to rest or work in the hybrid spaces.
